New Job Posting - Player Coach Development
Good afternoon CMHA members,
In light of recent changes to the landscape of Hockey in the Fraser Valley and specifically Chilliwack the CMHA Board has done research to maximize our efforts in providing the best player and coach development available to our families. After looking back on previous seasons we have noticed that although there were good intentions it has been difficult to ensure the players and coaches of our association were getting what they deserve year in and year out. We have decided to move to a paid Player and Coach Development position. This position will have clear focus on achievable goals and will be monetized based on their success and accomplishment of said goals. This position will be accountable to the CMHA Board and will be regularly held to task by a committee appointed by the board. The position will ensure that the CMHA will provide a player and coach development program competitive with, if not better than, any other available in the Fraser Valley. It is also important that families know that fees will not be increased next season to support this position.
