CMHA Hockey Fund

We’re pleased to inform CMHA members that the Hockey Fund has been distributed for the year. This is a fund to support families with need to be a part of our game. Each year we as members work to grow the Hockey Fund through sponsorship, donations and the Brad Beckett Memorial Tournament. For the 2022/23 season 10 families accessed the fund allowing 12 players, who ranged across all divisions, to start or continue their hockey journeys. The individual stories are private, but we can share one anonymous mothers note of thanks,

“Thank you so much! This means my kiddo will get a chance to do something he has only dreamed of. Words can’t express what I am feeling!“.

Good on you CMHA members! If we’re not pulling each other up, we’re missing one of the major lessons the game has to teach us. We are in this together, we are a community, we are a team.
