Chris Gale Realty continues Partnership
The Chilliwack Minor Hockey Association is proud to continue our partnership with Chris Gale Realty Group. Chris Gale is a renowned real estate agent with Royale Lepage, born and raised in Chilliwack and currently living in Ryder Lake with his family. He has always had a skillful eye for real estate and an intense passion for the community. Chris Gale's passion for the community has led to his support of the Chilliwack Minor Hockey Association. He has chosen to put his support specifically towards the U11 division. As a development sponsor, he provides the division development ice and paid coaching.
When asked why he chooses to support local sports, Chris Gale shared, "Sport plays such a major role in the community."
He elaborated, "Hockey is just a game, but it brings so many people in Chilliwack together. It gives us a place to teach the next generation the value of hard work and what it means to be a team player."
Interestingly, Chris doesn’t come from a hockey background—he was a football player growing up. But somewhere along the way, the hockey bug bit him and his family. These days, you’ll almost always find Chris and his kids at rinks around town, fully immersed in Chilliwack’s vibrant hockey culture.
Chilliwack Minor Hockey has been dedicating significant time and effort to enhancing our development strategy. Under the leadership of Brad Rhelia, we’ve brought in top-tier paid coaches and provided our volunteers with comprehensive plans and resources to support their vital contributions.
As an association, we firmly believe that skill development is a crucial aspect of becoming a stronger player. That’s why we’ve worked hard to create a structured plan that ensures the CMHA offers the best possible development opportunities for our athletes.
Thanks to the Chris Gale Realty Group’s generous contribution, the CMHA can continue to provide a dedicated Development Ice program for the U11 division. This program focuses on improving essential skills such as skating, shooting, and puck control. Paid coaching further elevates the program by giving players access to professional instruction while keeping costs manageable for families.
Chris Gale’s sponsorship plays a key role in making these resources more accessible, helping young athletes build confidence on the ice, and paving the way for a brighter future in the sport.
He believes that hockey brings together the community to all play together, parents meeting other parents, and kids meeting other kids. This helps strengthen the community and brings everyone to one place to enjoy one common thing.
